Lujain Almulla is a writer from Kuwait, where she works as an English language instructor. She completed a master’s degree in English with a concentration in creative writing at the University of Louisville in 2017. Moving to Kentucky from Kuwait and experiencing the Appalachian landscape beyond Louisville has informed the creative process in her recent work significantly. Her short stories have been featured in The Perch magazine and Word Hotel.
