Body of Water

I need to write a poem about a body of water and I found the task too easy because my body is water. And because we all try to return home I now live on the water.

And every morning and every evening I walk along the river that divides prosperous states into impoverished ones and I clearly live on the impoverished side because how else could I afford waterfront property?
